Amz Terminology

Amz Terminology -!We will often use a bunch of terms that are specific to Amazon. Here is a list of the most common ones we will use:

ROI - is the percent profit between your cost of goods and the price of goods sold

Formula: Profit/ Cost of good X100 = ROI

Ip complaints - This means that people aren't allowed to sell this product due to the brand enforcing brand policy. Again, you're not allowed to sell these products

FBA - Fulfillment By Amazon: The seller ships inventory to amazon warehouses and once an item sells, Amazon will ship to the customer and handle all customer service.

FBM - Fulfillment By Merchant: The seller lists inventory they have on hand, and once an item has sold, amazon provides you with the customer information and the seller ships directly to the customer and handles all customer service.

OA - Online Arbitrage: Process of buying products from an online retailer to sell for profit.

WS -Wholesale- Buying bulk products straight from distributors or manufacturers.

PL - Private Label: The process of creating your own brand/product to sell. UPC - Universal Product Code: A traditional barcode on items.

ASIN - Amazon Standard Identification Number: A unique code that identifies every item or size listed on amazon.

Sales Rank - Is a numerical identifier for Amazon to identify how many sales for an ASIN:The higher the sales rank, the less sales. The lower the sales rank, the more sales
