Making an Amazon account

Good to know: Below is how you will be able to create an Amazon account

Step 1. Head over to and click on sign up. Do not use your personal Amazon account. Create a new account with an email that is not associated with any Amazon account.

Step 2. Follow the prompts in which it asks you.

Step 3. During these prompts, you will need to decide to either open an LLC or open it as an individual. You can either sign up as a Sole Proprietor or begin with an LLC. We recommend starting with an LLC, but you can sign up as a Sole proprietor and later switch to an LLC.)

Step 4. After deciding this, you’ll go ahead and collect the following to get approved.

  • Bank routing number/Bank account number

  • Chargeable credit card

  • Government-issued national ID

  • Tax information

Step 5. Create a storefront name - we recommend using leandomain Something catchy. Something that flows smoothly. Keep it professional. Ex: Gladly Commerce

Step 6. Next, you will need fill out the information it asks and schedule a verification call. During this verification call, you will need the information form "Step 4." Once you're done with this call, you may need to wait two to three business days until your account is approved

When you create an Amazon account, there are two types of selling plans.

When you begin selling on Amazon. You will have two selling plans. These are two plans when selling on Amazon.

If you're planning on selling more than 40 units monthly, do the professional plan. If not, do the individual plan.
